Baseball, known as America’s pastime is a sport unlike all else, this is a thrilling two-and-a-half to four-hour-long contest made up of bats balls, and illegal substances… Baseball has a long history, none of which I will be writing about due to the crazy amount of time that the sport has been around for. Since the late 1800s Baseball has been one of the mainstream sporting events in America and throughout the world. However, with that being said, many people are not as passionate about the sport as they are with several others, maybe it is the fact of which the Major League Baseball organization plays 162 games in the “Regular Season”, not including a month of “Spring Training”, or the “Postseason”.

In today’s blog, I had asked three of my closest friends what they all had thought about baseball…

“I enjoy the atmosphere and being able to go with people I care about to create memories”

Just like Hannah said, baseball games are fun to go to with friends to make memories. Hannah is relatively new to the sport, not knowing much about it but has come a long way since the first time she had seen a game. Funny story, at one of her first games she had asked me why the defense gave up and let the batter just run around the bases without trying to get him out… The batter hit a home run and she did not know what that meant.

I had also given the question to two of my other friends, and their answers were similar to each other’s because they are involved in the game of baseball.

Baseball is a game that can change in one pitch, everything small affects the big picture as well. The thing people look at the most is the runs scored, not many people see that small thing a player has done to set another one-off, starting benches-clearing brawl… I mean come on, baseball is crazy entertaining if you truly look at it the right way!
